Royal Federal Hotel, est. 1899, is the heart of Branxton, a vibrant town with a rich history and salt of the earth community.
Branxton is located at the northern end of Wine Country Drive and is the gateway to the world renowned Hunter Valley wine country of Pokolbin and Rothbury. Our town is considered the birthplace of wine growing in Australia, being home to some of the first vines ever planted by George Wyndham in 1827.
